I think people are confused about the definition of obesity. When I refer to a person being “fat” I’m saying they are OBESE, not that they have 20-40ish extra pounds on them. I’m talking about people who can’t walk up a flight of stairs without feeling winded. People who have 60+ extra pounds depending on their body type is what I’m taking about.
